2015
Started with a dream. A small team of us wanted to create something different in Vancouver's hospitality scene - not just another cookie-cutter hotel, but a place with soul.
2017
Found this beautiful heritage building on Burrard Street. Yeah, it needed work, but we saw potential where others saw problems. Spent two years carefully restoring every detail.
2019
Grand opening in spring. Honestly, we were nervous as hell, but the response from guests blew us away. People got what we were trying to do - create genuine connections, not transactions.
2022
Added the spa and wellness center. We'd been hearing from guests that they wanted a place to truly unwind, so we made it happen. Also expanded our restaurant to include that cozy bar everyone loves now.
2025
Today we're proud to be Vancouver's choice for travelers who appreciate authenticity. We've grown, sure, but we haven't lost sight of why we started - making people feel genuinely welcome.

Who We Really Are

Look, we're not gonna feed you the usual corporate talk about being "world-class" or "award-winning" (though yeah, we've snagged a few awards). What matters more to us is the guest who comes back three times a year 'cause they say our place feels like home, or the couple who got engaged in our lobby last month.

We're a boutique hotel in the truest sense - small enough to know your name after one stay, big enough to provide everything you'd need. Our staff? They're not just employees reading from a script. Maria at the front desk will tell you where locals actually eat. James from concierge knows every hidden gem in Vancouver. That's the difference.

"I remember walking past this building back in 2016, all boarded up and forgotten. Everyone said I was crazy for wanting to turn it into a hotel. Maybe I was. But I believed Vancouver needed a place that honored the past while embracing the future. A place where time slows down just enough for you to actually breathe.
